The majority of drivers who came to ABC Chauffeured Limousines have been
referred to the company by business acquaintances. We also have drivers
who have experience from other limousine companies and have elected to transfer
to ABC Chauffeured Limousines.
All new chauffeurs are required to enroll in our exclusive ABC Chauffeur
Training School, located at our main headquarters. Training is given by
the management of ABC Chauffeured Limousines and it is an on going process.
Our curriculum includes:
Proper protocol & etiquette for all clients, including CEO's,
dignitaries, celebrities
Extensive studies of San Francisco & Bay Area maps (Thomas Guides)
Professional airport greeting and baggage escort service
Utilization of communications equipment (cell phones, alpha pagers,
2-way radios)
Zagat Survey of San Francisco and Bay Area Restaurants
Professional driving tour of San Francisco, Napa, Monterey and other
tourist locations
DMV and CHP handbooks and newsletters
Safety Certification from the National Safety Council Defensive Driving
Course
Training and sponsorship of DMV Class B License (van & bus)
Drug checks - Background Checks
Chauffeurs Requirements:
Attend weekly Safety Meetings and Briefings on Road Conditions/ New
Construction
Read and sign the ABC Chauffeurs Manual outlining the company's operating
procedures and policies
Show proof of employment eligibility in accordance with state regulations
Provide a current copy of a DMV driver's license and California DMV
driving records
Uphold our defined dress code of matching dark-colored suits, ties,
white shirts and dress shoes
DMV Pull Program:
We utilize the DMV Pull Program, which we commission to receive updated
driving records
for every chauffeur at our company throughout his/her employment history.
Dismissals are made when a record shows numerous violations or a suspended
license. Safety is our
first priority and we only employ drivers who know the driving laws and
adhere to California Highway Patrol Regulations.
